The Mission of Seal & Serpent
To be "one-of-one."
Everything we do aims to embrace the fact
that we are the only Seal & Serpent chapter in the world.
Who We AreSeal and Serpent is the only independent gender neutral society at Cornell University. Founded in 1905, our mission has been to create strong relationships between Cornellians for over 100 years. We host various social events throughout the year with that goal in mind. If you're interested in learning more, just knock on the front door, or contact us.

The LodgeEvery living member of Seal and Serpent shares one thing in common: a home at 305 Thurston Avenue, affectionately known as the Lodge. A Tudor-style half-timbered mansion with 23 bedrooms, the Lodge has been a foundational symbol of our eternal bond to our Society for nearly a century.
“The Lodge means more to the Chapter than the increased comfort in living conditions that it makes possible; it bears a message of the Loyalty of our alumni to Seal and Serpent; it is a monument expressing their devotion to its ideals.” - Class of 1927 |
